In 2007 she was found on the ground in Ohio with an injury to her wing - it would not fully extend. As a result of this injury, it was determined that she could not be released again. Ohio was brought to the AEF where she is now living happily at the AEF’s “Eagle Mountain Sanctuary” at Dollywood Entertainment Park in Pigeon Forge, TN. There she is surrounded by other non-releasable Bald Eagles in hopes that one day she will choose a mate and their young can be released into the wild. With A $250 Donation, You Can Adopt Ohio!
